Past President Joanne Primavera acted as president, calling the meeting to order at 7:05 p.m.  She began by thanking the many people who organized, supported, and carried out our successful gift-buying event Saturday, December 14, at Fred Meyer in Kirkland.  She also thanked many people for organizing and decorating the Wrapping Event and Gala December 16.  Among those thanked were Terry Cole, Doug Evanson, Alice Volpe, all the shoppers, etc.  It was also pointed out by her audience that Ms. Primavera deserved thanks for bringing order (and wrapping materials) to this evening’s event.
