Remember the Four-Way Test
Club Dues Status
As of December 1, with the release of new statements, 46 of the club’s 48 active members, or 95.8%, have paid their annual dues.  There remain 2 members with dues outstanding.  Note also that club membership shrank from 52 to 48.  Club members may pay using the new online Dues & Billing System, which requires a credit or debit card, or through the U.S. Mail by check.  Another statement will be issued on January 1.

January Program Update
The Rotary Club of Kirkland January 2021 program series offers city of Kirkland staff updates on key activities in the police, fire, and planning departments.  On January 4, Kirkland Police Corporal John Ness and Officer Tiffany Trombley will update Rotarians on the Community Services Unit, including the expansion of School Resources Officers, Neighborhood Resource Officers, and Mental Health Professionals.  On January 11, Deputy Director Jeremy McMahan, with Kirkland's Planning & Building Department, will update Rotarians on major business developments and major transportation projects on the city's planning list.  On January 25, Kirkland Fire Department Chief Joe Sanford will discuss the impact of the fire and EMS ballot measure outcome, and the city council's most recent directions for the fire and emergency services program.  If Rotarians have program suggestions for future meetings, please email James Nevers or use the website's Suggest A Speaker page.
