Happy Dollars were collected by Chuck Brockway our esteemed Chancellor.

Chuck even did 3 push-ups at the "urging" of Chuck Morgan.  (You had to be there to see  this!)

PROGRAM:

Our Speaker for the evening was Paul Camacho, CPA and Assistant Special Agent in Charge of Seattle Field Office for the Department of the Treasury-Internal Revenue Service Criminal Investigations.

Paul began by thanking our own Patti Smith for furnishing him with a list of all of our members and their Social Security numbers.  (Just kidding!)  After everyone's hearts started back up again, we knew we were in for a treat.  Paul is a very informative and entertaining speaker---what timing to have an IRS agent be our speaker tonight and our taxes due today!  He told us the type of cases that his office investigates and the kinds of activities that would trigger an investigation.  The IRS is interested in large cases and a majority of their leads come from Banks and the public.  Paul said it is a good idea to always be friendly to everyone---since ex-spouses, ex-partners, ex-employees, are the ones that often provide the leads.  A lively discussion followed the Paul's talk and he was happy to answer all questions.

The lucky ticket was Wendy Allen's, but she did not select the "blue" marble.  Her name will go in the "second chances" drawing.

President Steve adjourned the meeting at 7:40 p.m.
