Late in the morning of the day of the meeting, President Steve and Sgt-At-Arms Steve were notified by the Woodmark that they had had a flood in the kitchen and meetings rooms, and were unable to accomodate Kirkland Rotary for that evening. President Steve made the decision to officially CANCEL the meeting so as to not negatively impact the attendance records of the Club or it's members.
A note was sent immediately to all members by Sgt-At-Arms Steve about the cancellation. President Steve, President-Elect Rachel, and Treasurer Barb were present at the Woodmark that evening to inform club members who hadn't seen the email, as well as any Visiting Rotarians who may have come for a make-up.
Please remember, there are no meetings for the next two(2) weeks due to Christmas on the 25th and New Year's Day on the 1st.
As this was to be the last meeting of the year, and as a personal note from me as President, I'd like to extend my most heartfelt thanks to all of you for all your support and help during this first half, and sincerely wish you and your families a very safe, healthy, and Happy Holiday! Merry Christmas - and see you on January 8th!
