President Jim Feek called the May 24, 2010 Kirkland Rotary meeting to order.

Al Hoviland led the Pledge of Allegiance.  Rich led the Inspirational Moment.  He told us about a friend, "I like me more when I'm with him".  He has the character of John Wayne, the humor of Bob Hope, the sincerity of Jimmy Stewart, the love of community of Ronald Reagan and the integrity of Steve McQueen.  His friend is Bill Woods.

Jim thanked Debbie Gregorek for greeting and Sarah Brooks for scribing.

Jim asked if anyone attended Ten Grands.  Wasn't that great? He said the three and one-half hours was the nicest evening with music he can remember.  He was very proud that there were 300 Rotarians in the audience.

Jim read a letter from John Overleese thanking Rotary members for all of their support.  Pat Swenson said John loves company. You can call in the morning to set up time for an afternoon visit.
