8/13 Rotary Board Meeting
*Minutes are coming soon.

Dave DeBois gave a recap of the 8/18 golf tournament at Bear Creek (Editor’s/scribe’s note: We should have the tournament every year at Bear Creek! Course is fantastic, and they take good care of us.)
*A team of non-Rotarians won.
*Normally there is debate for who should be the recipient of the infamous monkey trophy, but this year there was a landslide/”lifetime achievement” award winner – Patti Smith. Patti knocked Anne Hamilton down with her golf card….and then ran over her. Anne has a broken foot.

Duck Dash final to-do
*Return all unsold tickets.

Jim Going introduced the program speakers – his daughter Christine (sales rep for Sharp) and his son-in-law Greg (an AV specialist)
*They demonstrated a Sharp Aquos board. Long story short: technology continues to change the world, and an Aquos board has no shortage of applications to how we live and work.

Joker Pool
*We have 28 cards left.
*Joanne Primavera had the winning ticket, but drew an 8.

Next Meeting
*9/15: The District Governor will join our meeting, and John Pruitt wants to have a theme for this meeting (Hawaiian, Husky colors, etc). Please email him your ideas.

Meeting was adjourned at 7:45.
