  • VP Rick reviewed the Duck Dash sponsors and the committees that have been set up for the Big Race.  Rick and Patty Sims have also set plans for the July 4th Parade and festivities.
  • Joanne Primavera reminded us that Miracle League starts on April 22 at Perrigo Park in Redmond with a start time of 10:30 AM (Half an hour later than last year).
  • Brian Tucker announced he is now officially engaged to his friend Joanne!
Dave Aubry introduced Kent Sullivan and Matt McCauley, two historians of early Kirkland life.  Both gave us an excellent past history of Kirkland, particularly the railroad built as part of Peter Kirk’s steel mill and the eventual Northern Pacific railroad line that is the now the Cross Kirkland Corridor.  The two speakers have gone to great lengths to obtain early photos and other documents that provided us with a history of this great city!
Thanks, Kent and Matt, for a wonderful program!
VP Rick adjourned the meeting at 7:45 PM
