  • Patty Sims informed us that Miracle League is almost here!  The first game will be April 22 at Perrigo Park in Redmond with a start time of 10:30 AM (Half an hour later than last year).
  • Amy Mutal has arranged a Thunderbirds Hockey Game for us on Saturday, March 18 at the Kent ShoWare Center.  The T-Birds will play Portland, a real rivalry!  You can also have dinner at the Ram Restaurant at 5:00 PM before the game and then enjoy the game beginning at 7:05 PM.  Tickets are $26 apiece and you can pay at the front desk.
  • Jason Overleese has set the March 20 meeting for coordinating Duck Dash activities so be sure and attend!
Tonight’s program was a TED Talk by Sue Klebold, the mother of one of the boys involved in the Columbine High School shootings on April 20, 1999.  Sue described her feelings toward her son and the heart-felt sympathy for the victims of the massacre.
Anne Hamilton then introduced a short Ted Talk on how a leader needs the first follower and how that inspires others to join the group.
Happy Dollars
Club members felt we needed some happiness after the Ted Talk so VP Rick collected many dollars to help support our efforts in the community.  There was a lot of happiness!
VP Rick adjourned the meeting at 7:15 PM
