Dr. Sharon Mc Gavick  President of Lake WashingtonTechnical  College

     

Dr McGavick spoke of the history of the school (founded in 1948) and became a college in 1991. The school's mission" Is to train and prepare people for the work place".

 

The school is applying for a four Baccalaureate Status to raise it to the ranks of a Technological Institute.

 

The school is very proud of it's 300+ student s enrolled in it's Multimedia and Graphics program.

 

25% of students applying to the 5000 student school have already obtained a degree but are looking for new and more applicable skills
