In February Rotarians rolled out a new program series on transportation.  Local historical society personalities Kent Sullivan and Matthew McCauley presented remarkable photos and anecdotes about train travel and Kirkland's history.  Joel Pfundt, who manages the Kirkland Public Works Department's transportation division, reported to the club on a variety of local and regional transportation projects expected to impact city of Kirkland residents and visitors.  All Aboard Washington's co-executive director, Dr. Charlie Hamilton presented AAWA’s goal to promote rail as an integral part of Washington state’s transportation solutions, including reliable, frequent service connecting communities of all sizes, on both sides of the Cascades.  Thank you to Margie Glenn for organizing this speaker series.
