Kirkland Rotary Business & Accounting Scholarship

This scholarship is sponsored by Hutchison & Walter CPAs and Margie Glenn for a student planning a business major at an accredited college or university.  The scholarship is a one-time award of $2,500.  Two “Kirkland Rotary Business & Accounting Scholarships” may be awarded in 2021.  The eligibility criteria are:
  • Financial need (demonstrated through a valid USED Student Aid Report [SAR], or written statement declaring financial need);
  • Academic promise (demonstrated through the transcript and letter of recommendation);
  • Record of school or community service, especially leadership, and promise of societal contribution (demonstrated through the essay and letter of recommendation);
  • Currently enrolled as a senior at the Lake Washington School District’s Lake Washington High School, Juanita High School, Emerson High School, or International Community School; and
  • Plans to attend a college major in business administration at an accredited college or university (preferably but not necessarily with an emphasis in accounting) in the United States.
